Foxlink Image Technology(FIT) was originally established as Compeye Corporation in March 1997. It engaged in development and manufacture of flatbed scanners. In September 2000, Compeye became a member of Cheng Uei (Foxlink) Group, which is a public listed company in Taiwan and specializes in the manufacture of connectors, cables, and other components. Compeye was then renamed as Foxlink Image Technology.

With the powerful resources from Foxlink Group, FIT expands it business to image related products including DSC, LCD Monitors, MFPs, Scanners, PC Cameras, LCD Projectors, and Printing Devices. It has over 3, 000 employee over the global operations. FIT has also reoriented its strategy to become an OEM/ODM oriented company, which specializes in design, development and manufacture of innovative and competitive image products. It is registered as a company conforming to ISO 9002(the production facilities in China), 9001, 14001, and OHSAS 18001.
